Year 5 were given the challenge to design and create an egg drop device that simulates a parachute – the process of slowing descent to resist the force of gravity. Their goal was to make an egg survive a drop of approximately 4 metres. They were only allowed to use the supplies provided, and included in their design, to help the egg survive the drop!
