On Wednesday 22nd June, 10 AOL UK engineers joined Year 6 Weir class to host a coding class as part of the AOL Future Builders competition.
In partnership with international charity and educational partner, Free The Children, AOL UK challenged over 12,000 pupils across the country to showcase how they would make a positive social impact in their local and global communities using technology, with the aim of inspiring the future builders of tomorrow to be bold with their ideas, creative in their thinking and active in their communities.
Daisy won the great tech and coding prize, which was an iPad for her, 25 laptops for the school and the opportunity to learn to code with AOL UK engineers for her class.
