Addition & subtraction of fractions with the same denominator
Multiplication - grid method
Division of 2 and 3 digit numbers by single, digit with and without remainders
Pictograms and bar charts (interpreting and drawing)
Measure - weight (converting between grams and kilograms)
We now have on-line access to all of the Abacus maths work books. They have been saved on to the school web page in the 'Maths at Southborough' area. This is really useful as the children could use the 1st and 2nd term books as a recap (we are currently working from book 2). Access is available for all year groups so you could try either lower/ higher aged books to suit your child's ability.
Please could you research and answer the following questions:
1. Name the main parts of flowering plants
2. Explain the function of roots
