Southborough boys cricket team participated in a cricket tournament at Old Wilsonians on Thursday 6th June. The boys played extremely well winning 4 games and only losing 1 to the eventual winners. The Kent Spitfire Mens' team were in attendance and the boys chatted to the players asking them for some top tips on how to improve their batting and bowling techniques. The Kent players were very impressed with Southborough's overarm bowling and batting skills and also loved having their photo taken.
What a fantastic day!!
Southborough girls football team played against Biggin Hill last Friday. The girls played extremely well, as for many of them it was their first game and they were playing against Year 6s. We lost 2- 0 but Mr Fotheringham was extremely proud of the way everyone kept battling until the end of the game. Well done to: Ruby S, Edie P, Hollie C, Nikyta N, Anna M, Tallulah C, Phoebe J, Sharon A and Hollie L.
